INNER AWARENESS

Yoga attends to all aspects of our being - mind, body and spirit. Through practice, you will learn how to allow your breath to guide your movement and find an inner awareness and sense of peace. When yoga asanas are practiced with full awareness, you will not only be energized but find yourself in a relaxed state of mind.

EMOTIONAL BALANCE

Our lives are always so busy - working, taking care of our families, planning for the future - our thoughts can quickly become overwhelming. Sometimes that leaves us feeling out of control, like a sand storm of emotions are swirling through our minds all at once.

The most powerful tool we have to calm our minds is our breath. Combining asanas with the breath helps to keep your mind clear and focused. This focus can drastically improve your emotional well being.

STRENGTH & FLEXIBILTY

While yoga strengthens your mind, it also strengthens your body, improves flexibility, and boosts energy. Heat building flows will challenge you physically and help you build muscle by focusing on core and balance.

LINKING MOVEMENT WITH BREATH

Yoga

Currently I am teaching a Yin + EFT yoga class on Fridays at Serenity Yoga in Middletown, DE at 11AM. All classes listed below are available for private 1-1 or group sessions.

VINYASA FLOW

This gentle vinyasa yoga class  features personal modifications and emphasizes integrating mind, body, spirit, and breath–all within a playful, safe environment. Together, we come into the breath and quiet the mind as we find steadiness in asana. All are encouraged to accept the beauty of their practice without needing to achieve anything other than coming into the present moment and truly experiencing it.  Gentle Vinyasa yoga is a great way to transition from the weekend into the work-week.

YIN

Yin is a passive practice where poses are held for 3-5 minutes at a time with the focus on the connective tissues of the body. Many postures are seated, but focus on the whole physical and emotional body. In this class you will be asked to engage with very little muscular effort, and invited to ask questions of yourself or your practice and settle into whatever responses you receive. This class has music and may include meditation, reiki, or nidras.

STRETCH & SIP

Want to plan a fun happy hour with your girlfriends. Why not enjoy the simple pleasures with a relaxing yoga class followed by sipping on your favorite wine. This evening can improve your health, increase your happiness, and leave you feeling sensational! This can take place in your home, poolside, or anywhere else you'd like to entertain your guests!
